  • Re: Can u give me comment about Beosound4?

I was never really sold on the SD card. It must have a following elsewhere in the world. If you're going to splurge at some point I'd sit tight for a BeoSound 5. Better to get something that can play all of your digital music and not just what fits on an SD card.

  • Re: Beovision 10-46 in 3D in 2012 ?

    A. I know of no plans to adapt the BeoVision 10 to 3D B. 3D remains a non-starter across the TV industry. Consumer demand drove the painful conversion to 16x9 HD, there is no demand to do the same for 3D C. There is compelling evidence that 3D requires an immersive experience which can't be offered on such a small screen. I'm not personally

  • Re: B&O pricing policy

Really can't add much to Martinw's well considered post. Discounting is not part of the Bang & Olufsen experience and customer demands are inelastic no matter how much they might save.

  • Re: TheBeoVision 12 is in the storee.

It's up and running. Image is incredible, as expected. The center channel speaker is better that I expected. Extremely powerful.

The best laid schemes o' mice an' men gang aft a-gley. Just a few Hilti toggle bolts and we're off to the races.

  • Re: The Audiophile & B&O

To round out that story a little, my guy got a counter top place to water jet them to the exact circular dimension of the base, so when you look at them you really wouldn't know there was anything different unless you're one of us and tuned in to the little details.

  • Re: The Audiophile & B&O

I'm not an audiophile, but have had at least a dozen real audiophile clients over the years. Most of them would change power cords, add line conditioners, mess with interconnects, etc. The only thing I've ever been shown that worked is putting a set of thick marble slabs under BeoLab 5s. Tightened up the bass tremendously as though they were

  • Re: Extending masterlink via cat 6

Sorry, this will not work. You will need Cat7 to complete the run with the appropriate adaptors. You need the braided shield that isn't present in Cat6.

  • Re: BS5 supports Apple Lossless

The BeoSound 5 communicates to the user that there's been an update and explains in detail what new features have been added and which features may have changed. E-mailing clients is absolutely unrealistic. In my store alone I have a data-base of nearly 8,000 clients. The number of e-mails that bounce back from mass mailings indicates that an e

  • Re: BS5 supports Apple Lossless

I expected it, but I hadn't heard any advance warning that it was about to drop. My next question is naturally - Why can you now rip in WMA & MP3-320, but NOT ALAC? Seems like that would have been a natural choice. I'm sure it's coming soon, but it would have been nice to have it at launch.
