Purchased October 1995. Pictures at http://www.calatrava.me.uk/bando Working, in excellent condition. Comes with a Beo4 remote. Located in mid Hampshire UK - I guess M3 and London viable. Any reasonable offer? - which I guess ain't much for a CRT! (+ my travel costs if any).

(Searched but didn't find. Apologies if repeat.) I want to connect my PC to my BV7-40 via HDMI. I have 2 monitors attached to the PC (both 1920x1200). Will I need to set up the TV as a 3rd monitor? What I really want to do is have the TV repeat the content of the 1st monitor (I don't mind if it loses a bit at top or bottom). Any advice welcome

The PSTN base is not the same as the original pyramid base - it came later. When I was trying to mix BC5 with BC6000/1s, the BC5 would not talk to the original pyramid. When we tried a PSTN, the engineer couldn't get them both talking to that either. According to the official B&O compatibility table, PSTN is the only base which can be used with

Has anyone in the UK found it bearable yet? eg carried on a sensible conversation via the speakerphone?

Get your dealer to call you via the speaker. If you can understand ANYTHING he says, then it might have improved.
