Hi All, Sorry for the time lag in this reply. The hiss on mine is bad, so much so that the whole chassis was replaced by my dealer in an attempt to cure it, and it made NO difference at all. Their reply was "they all do that, even the one in the showroom". At the moment I am trying to get the specifiction for the signal to noise ratio out

Hello Beovision 6 owners, are any owners of these TV's having problems such as: Loud anoying hiss on the sound, volume needs to be on 20/25 to drown the hiss out (it is only when sound is muted that the hiss stops). This is NOT B&O std for sound quality, no one inc. the factory can come up with signal to noise ratio spec for this model. Anyone

Hello, are any owners of BeoVision 6 TV's having problems such as: Loud anoying hiss on the sound, (it is only when sound is muted that the hiss stop). Hi Opman, Also on Winter hill and I had problems with my Beocentre 6-26, it just lost BBC1,2, 3 etc. all other channels seemed to be there. After trying everything I could think of I rang my dealer and he said that I would need to change a transponder frequency in the tuning list so it would then be able to find the missing stations. Hi Mark, I have the same with my setup, in my case I think it is because I have used a home made link cable and the screening is not good enough between the data and sound cables. I used multicore cable that only had one overall screen and I think other members may confirm that is not correct as there should be screening between the digital and audio

Try your dealer, they should still be able to order a complete new unit as a Spare part. Even though they are not listed in the current product range. I had to do this a few years ago when mine failed. good luck Steve
