  • Re: wow seen these prices???

It is often the case since USD depreciation started a couple of years ago. In Europe items (not only B&O) tend to be more expensive than in the US. Suppose that Europe has to pay the reduced margin of US business given fierce competition over there. Another good example is for cars. I personally think it is a shame and I do not at all like being

  • Re: I am disappointed about beovision 8

Does this mean that whenever TV signals will be digital all over, image quality advantage BnO once had will disappear? With analog signals BnO TVs were just outstanding. But when I look at regular flat screens with digital feed, especially HD, it seems that the difference in image quality is small. As I am building a house and will start with the wiring

  • Re: Loewe Connect

As already mentioned, the built quality is not the same. Image quality with analog signal is not good and not at all comparable with BO. Though pictures (photos) from the harddisk were quite good. So the image quality seems good with digital input. But couldn't Loewe could become a threat for BnOs low-medium TVs as it's offering network functionalities

  • Loewe Connect

Dear all, I have been recently in a store that sells Loewe TVs. They had on show the new Connect series. Was only one TV connected to an external harddisk. So demo was more an introduction. It's rather new so that even resellers do not have a lot of info on the product. It seems that Loewe have recognized that the next step for them is to integrate

  • Re: Beovision 7 verses 9

There is not only the TV to buy, but the whole system.......that hurts! Especially when building a new house, you never end on budget which is bad for subsequent purchases. Here is the set-up starting point: * Hobby room Beosound 3500 * Living room BV7-40 (BV9 ?) viewing distance 4 m, Beolab 8000 for front. Rear wires foreseen but no loudspeakers from

  • Re: Beovision 7 verses 9

I suppose you are talking about new stuff. But I do agree that 40 to 60 % discount for a couple of months old display items is a bargain. What do you all think or have experienced in terms of discount for display items? Interesting for me as I am planning my new AV system. BV7-40 on motorized stand is nice, but with a good discount for a BV9, I would

Mine! For that discount I would go for the HD BV9! Just my opinion
