  • BV8 & HDR2

Hi, Moved into new house 2 months ago. I'm planning to purchase BV8 40 with Beosound 8000 and maybe BS5. Given that we're still recording on VHS (I really have enough of it...) I was planning to buy HDR2. When I then looked at technicals I noticed that here is no HDMI connection for a 1500 EUR price tag!!! I'm wondering whether it's

  • Re: World's recession and B&O

Don't tell me that B&O can't produce their stuff in Europe, even core Europe i.e. high wage countries, with the prices they're charging. I won't for sure consider buying any high priced item produced in China. If we accept this, we kill our jobs ourselves! There should be a limit to human stupidity and the current crisis is exactly

  • Beo5 and Jung Light & store control

Hello, I will have a Jung light & store control. As I will have a remote from Jung, I was thinking at using a Beo5 to control those as well. Will this be possible? My dealer can't tell me. As Beo is supposed to be a universal remote, it should work. Thanks Patrizio

kallasr: Look for Lexcom cables (ethernet to Masterlink or Powerlink). Use CAT7 cabling (shielded) and you will be futureproof. Look at one of my posts for pictures on this issue. Ralf Will mention it to my dealer. Thanks

Wife loves design of 8000's! She didn't listen to them in the store......for the living room she will put more attention on the design. Have to make concessions as the whole set-up will cost a bit of money and she has never been fanatic about hifi or homecinema setups. She was a bit surprised by the needed investment.......I have been attracted

Thanks beojeff. Sounds interesting. With this set-up it seems that a BS5 wouldn't be needed?
