• Re: Beolink Active PC port

So just to clarify before I blow something important up: If I get one of these http://www.altronics.com.au/index.asp?area=item&id=P1162 and use pins 2, 4, and 7 (with the number to pin correlation shown here: http://www.beoworld.org/beotech/misc2.htm at the bottom) and then get one of these http://www.altronics.com.au/index.asp?area=item&id

Another issue... in that other thread it says:
hi guys.... finally, I can confirm that the DIN cable for the PC input on the beolink active has : pin5 - right(left) in channel pin2 - left(right) in channel pin6 - ground regards....
Is this the same pinout as the old-style-AUX-->headphone or RCA cables? As

  • Re: Beolink Active PC port

Side question... will it still work with that PC setting even without the ML cable attached? Because I can get the cable for the PC port easily enough but I have to wait to install the ML to that back room and would like to be able to use the speakers with my computer.

Holy crow that's actually really cool. And it'll solve a problem I have which is having other speakers for my mixer/music stuff. Looks like I can just get this cable http://soundsheavenly.co.uk/bando-beolinkrca.htm and be good to go.

  • Beolink Active PC port

What can you do with this port? The manual doesn't really say much.* It would be nicer if it was a 2nd Powerlink port since I just discovered I don't have a long enough powerlink cable to connect my speakers but I'd be fine if the Beoport active had 2 powerlink ports. Grrrrr... *The socket marked PC is used in BeoLink PC setups only. Please

  • Re: Beosound 4 blinking red

Thanks for the responses guys. It was doing all kinds of weird wacky things like starting the radio and not going off, it let me put my PIN in but wouldn't turn off, and the BL3500 wasn't responding at all. So I disconnected the BL3500 and voila, the BS4 works fine. Long story short, I traced the problem to the little splitter box thing (the

  • Beosound 4 blinking red

Hi there, I had a power outage today and since the power came back on, my BS4 is blinking red and won't let me put in the PIN code. The glass goes up when I'm at it but the buttons don't react and the PIN entry menu thing doesn't come up. It just sits there blinking. Any ideas?

  • Beolab 3500 starts out LOUD

Hiya, I looked in the manual but couldn't find the answer: Can the BL3500 be set to have a lower starting volume than what it's currently at? My BS4 I can set to whatever volume I want as a default starting point. When I turn on my BL3500 it's really loud, which I don't remember it doing before I moved. Is there a setting that can be

  • IR eye for Beoport?

I've heard conflicting things... does the eye for the Active Link work on Beoport? Thanks.
