Excatly. The Terminal 3300 uses the newer codes which are compatibe to Beolink 1000, Beo4, etc. Beomaster 3000 uses unique codes which are only compatible with Terminal 3000. I got one here: http://www.lifestyle-av.co.uk/product_list.asp?sectionId=4 a few months back.

siehe hier: http://www.beoworld.org/prod_details.asp?pid=1281 bezüglich Änderungen: "An update of the long running Beolab 8000 , the Beolab 8002 introduced new drive units powered by a pair of ICE amplifiers rated at 125W each.B&O themselves commented that sound quality was unchanged and so this can be seen as a rationalising of the

If you need "a remote control for all the B&O in your house", use this one: http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/t/33557.aspx It doesn't have the B&O codes in its database which means it needs to learn all the codes first (by pointing the Beo4 to it and send button by button). Once you created the buttons and learned the codes it works
If you use the beoline2 then everything is 'fine'.
I do use the Beoline 2 and I wish everything was fine: - Can't use phone book in Beocom 6000 - Line keeps on getting disconnected or distorted when moving between rooms with Beocom 5 (I also have a B&O DECT repeater in use) - Occasionally connection

Hi Ploutos, welcome to the forum. I am not an expert on these two but what I find is strange that you miss the IDs on both, Beocom and Beotalk. So to me it looks like it's not a problem of the Beocom/Beotalk which recognize and store the IDs independently from each other, it looks more like that the IDs are not sent by the caller or telecom operator

Hi Clakke, the speaker is actually the only reason for buying the Beocom5, that's the only thing which is really beautiful and seems to work okay. If you don't buy the speaker I think the Beocom 6000 is the better option because it works absolutely flawlessly. - Beocom5 has connection problems, it sometimes drops off or has a distorted connection
-
Beolink 1000, Beolink 5000, Beo4 work perfectly, Beo5 also works
-
Karel is right. Calling Beocom5 a VOIP phone is misleading and B&O shouldn't do that. The base has two standard analog line-in sockets, and that's it.
