• Re: BS5 supports Apple Lossless
Qobuz.com is already selling HD tracks in Apple Lossless file format. It's already possible, but not sure if the BS5 decode HD ALAC (iTunes do it, Airport Express don't, and I don't know about Apple TV)
The Apple TV (and iPhone, iPad and iPod) do not go above 24-bit 48 KHz. That's indeed better

  • Re: BeoVision 7-55----Owner experience?
More than likely,a small, elite group, but I would appreciate it if any owners would share their experience with the BV 7-55. Any problems with the usual shortcomings of LCD technology, viz motion blur, uneven backlighting, black level? I have read the FlatPanels review-is the bluish tint mentioned by them noticeable in a

  • BL2 superfluous for home cinema?

Hi everybody, My dealer is offering me a good price for my BL 8000s and my BL2, if I purchase a pair of new BL9s from him. I have no trouble believing that the BL9s will sound better than my BL8000s + BL2 when listening to music, and I obviously like the idea of freeing up space and having less cables in my living room. However, what about home cinema

  • Any experience with Pure Music (Mac software)?

Hi all, I was wondering if any of you has any experience with this: http://www.channld.com/puremusic/ It seems to me that it combines the ease of use of iTunes with our demand for high quality (playback of hi-res music files including FLAC @ 96 KHz, gapless playback, use of the Apple iOS Remote app), all in conjunction with a BeoSound 5 and while maintaining

  • Re: Tarifs indicatifs B&O hors remise

  • Re: Connection of a Mac mini to a BV8 40": Dolby Digital 5.1?

Thanks for your answer mbee! So I guess it means that by going optical to SPDIF, I will get sound, but no digital (Dolby 5.1) though? VANTAGE

  • Connection of a Mac mini to a BV8 40": Dolby Digital 5.1?

Hi everybody, Forgive me for asking, but it's really not clear to me, despite numerous searches in cyberspace... Can somebody please tell me whether connecting a Mac mini to a BV8 40" using the Mini DisplayPort output of the Mac to the HDMI output of the BV8 40" (with the adequate adapter): - will produce sound, and not only video? - if
