  • Re: New B&O book for collectors.

This must be THE book. Something one did not think could exist in reality. Although vast information is on the triple whiskey, nothing beats the book format. I hope it will sell well. At least, I will buy it as soon as it is released.

  • Re: Service manuals

I am planning to convert a spare MCL sensor to use it as a vx sensor with a vx 4500. I figure the plug is a standard 3.5 mm 3 pole. Now i need to know what wire goes to what pole on the plug.

  • Re: Service manuals

I hope I am not nagging too much. I would very much appreciate the VX 4500 service manual. I am especially interested in the VX Sensor connections.

  • Re: JULY 2008 PRIZE DRAW

First time online for the prize draw on a slow 3G UMTS wireless connection, exciting. On the music system I am playing the record everyone else is also listening to these days, Ellington at Newport.

  • Re: Convertig a mcl transceiver to a vx sensor.

Thank you Stefan. The user guide says it is a Ø 3.5 mm plug. I do not know if it is a 3 or a 4 pole. I also do not know what wire to connect to what pole. Maybe this is in the vx 4500 service manual. That one is not on this site but I have made an inquiry.

  • Convertig a mcl transceiver to a vx sensor.

I saw on beocentral that the vx sensor looks just like a MCL transceiver, except that the mute and timer buttons are missing. Would it be possible to use the MCL as a vx sensor if some of the wires are connected to the appropriate plug? I do not have enough insight and technical skill to understand if or not. I would appreciate if someone could have

  • Re: The ultimate track for B&O?

My opinion is that almost all music is too compressed nowadays, except classical music. Remastered albums often means “extra compression”. I think the most interesting recordings are demo recordings and non commercial live recordings since these usually are pretty raw and not too much processed.

  • Re: VX Sensor

Yes indeed. Thank you Ignace, for checking the PCG. There is no datalink sticker on the TV-set, it is a type 3442 and the whiteline edition. For me, it would be to advanced to update the set to datalink mk 2 as stated in the PCG printout.

  • VX Sensor

Today I bought a Beocord VX 4500 at a flee market for only 6 Euro. Nice exterior condition and to my supprice the unit seems to work, the sound is really good an the picture quality i quite ok. However, I can not control it by remote control. It is hooked up to my LX2500 (my only TV-set) and probably the datalink module II was not installed. Strange

  • Re: What is the best pre-amp to Beogram turntables?

I have ordered a Cambridge audio RIIA. Costs around 60 Euro. Will arrive next week and then I can tell if it is any good. Not all cheaper ones I have checked has ground connection which I have found trouble with.
