When I bought my VX8000 (I think that was the model #) I read about the spec' and when I finally bought it, it didn't have the PIP facility I expected. When

I don't wish to promote or develop a "B&O are a rip-off" discussion, because I don't believe they are.....but I must admit I can see a case could be made for thinking I perhaps was!
I do however agree with Paul that the DVD1 was not a high point in B&O design - the best part of this machine was the ability to integrate it - that actual DVD player was very basic. They did change the player to a Pioneer in its later incarnations, though whether this was actually any better is debatable.

Hmmm not too sure if China is the place to sell B&O!
Me, I come from an age when B&O showroom prices were always out of the reach of the "man in the street" and long may they continue to be so. It is all part of their desireability as far as I am concerned and separates me from the common herd. Snob but honest???
Can't argue with that Joey

  • Re: Deault TV Channel at switch on

Hi Harry & welcome. Surely there must be a way to tune your TV/Freeeview box so that Station #1 is tuned to the box? Are you connected via RF or scart? I think it may not be coincidence that your Freeview signal is coming via #6 ( did someone programme it to this number so that it then followed on from TV Channels 1 - 5?). Don't focus your concern

"They've been going over 30 yers - in fact Apple started the whole Pc business in April 1976. They've been leading the market ever since - everyone copies them - even bno" Come on Flappo, why, having extended much time to compose your comprehensive postings, is it really toooooo much trouble to substitute "&" into bno

I also like a lot of things, but definitively Apple is not the brand of choice for me because of its closed system. sergio A bit rich Sergio, bearing in mind B&O's remote control frequencies which rendered products 'closed' as far as control from other devices was concerned.
