About a year ago I bought a stand for the Beo4 from Lin Tronic. I think it is beautiful and a small work of art even when the Beo4 is not in it! Looking at the Lin Tronic site now however I see no mention of it so can only assume it had been discontinued. I'm sorry in one way that is doesn't appear to have been a sales success, but on the other

And if she'd said 'NO' each time to the items, what then?

Beolab1: Yes I did a crazy thing. Bought a beautiful mint condition Beosystem 4500. Opened all three components and cleaned them, greased the Beocord and just lined them up together with a pair of Beolab 4000's. It works perfectly and there are absolutely no scratches on any of the surfaces. Now the main problem: my girlfriend thinks that we don't

I think many people would be similarly amazed by the sound from a quality CD player, a well recorded disc and listening through quality headphones. Especially if compressed MP3 tracks are the normal listening experience! Quality headphones can be truly mind blowing in revealing sounds and instruments unheard on even previously regularly listened-to

Simple and very cost effective solution:- Purchase FM transmitter which transmits on the 88 - 108 FM band (€20). Connect to PC. Tune B&O radio tuner (and other radios around the house) to appropriate transmitting frequency. Result - Internet radio around the house and outside if required!
