• Re: Apple TV on "old" B&O television (MX7000)

I addressed this issue by purchasing a component to composite converter via eBay. Cost about 30 GBP I seem to recall. I connected then to a composite to scart plug and plugged it into one of the spare scart sockets. Not HD quality or as good as that via component or HDMI but as good it can be in the circumstances.

  • Re: New Marketing campaign...

I haven't viewed the content so I may be being unfair here, but it sounds so out of touch to be almost unbelievable. Nothing wrong with the Royal Danish Ballet, but it's not exactly a customer grabber is it?

  • Re: BeoVision Avant transportation
Avant's don't have captive leads so you can just use a UK figure of 8 power cable if you have one kicking around, there won't be any need for plug adapters etc.
Sounds a rather complicated version of my 'cutting the existing plug off and fitting a new UK one' reply. Were/are you an electrician
Thanks for the help guys. i guess i will have to put it face down in the car with towels and polystyerine inderneath. Will i have to get an adapter so the TV can work with British plugs? Beacause the TV has been plugged into a european plug socket all its life
Two options. Plug the Euro plug into a Euro to UK adapter

  • Re: Picture and Picture - Whats the use?
Sorry but i dont understand the above. The feature works with analog inputs but not with digital (HDMI/DVI)
Sorry if my meaning didn't come across clearly. I am saying that the feature is useful. Whether the source is analogue or digital does not detract from my point that PiP is a useful feature. Of course

PiP is either a useful feature to you or it's not irrespective of so-called 'digital days'. I can't see whether the signal is digital or analogue has anything whatsoever to the the usefulness or otherwise of the feature. I miss it on my currect B&O TV. Not greatly, but years ago when I had it fitted to my LX TV, I used it when for

  • Re: B&O and DVD/BlueRay: what am I missing?
You can connect any descent BluRay to your B&O TV and controle it with the Beo4/5/6.
Correct of course but the original point being made was that B&O were not providing this option.
