I addressed this issue by purchasing a component to composite converter via eBay. Cost about 30 GBP I seem to recall. I connected then to a composite to scart plug and plugged it into one of the spare scart sockets. Not HD quality or as good as that via component or HDMI but as good it can be in the circumstances.

I haven't viewed the content so I may be being unfair here, but it sounds so out of touch to be almost unbelievable. Nothing wrong with the Royal Danish Ballet, but it's not exactly a customer grabber is it?

PiP is either a useful feature to you or it's not irrespective of so-called 'digital days'. I can't see whether the signal is digital or analogue has anything whatsoever to the the usefulness or otherwise of the feature. I miss it on my currect B&O TV.
