Hi Andrew, they are worth whatever anyone is prepared to pay for them Some go for 40EUR but I've seen some on BIN for up to 400 EUR. I love mine, a nice warm, round sound. Dave.

Andrew, some Beovox 1000 speakers should go nicely. There are some on eBay at the moment.

Andrew, without a picture it is difficult to say what else may be missing. The cover at the back of the tonearm covers the counterbalance weight and adjuster. If the cover is missing, the arm will not be balanced at all. Someone may have a spare one from a defective tonarm that you could use. Once you have that, depending on what cartridge you have

Just in case you didn't know, Stbbrackets sell reproduction brackets for the Century: http://www.stbbrackets.co.uk/?page=proddetail&catID=10&ProdID=1014 £50 seems quite a bit but they had to invest to get them made and it's better than not having one if you really want one. Does anyone have a copy (paper or pdf) of the Beomaster 3000-2 (type 24xx) user guide (not the service manual). It isn't in the products section and I'd like to get a copy if possible. Please PM me if you can help. Many thanks, Dave.

That's more like it! Though they should be stacked the other way ideally for heat dissipation. I hope mine look as good when they come back from Frede. There must still be lots of old stuff out there still worth showing. Don't be shy. Dave.

Just a word of caution. If your S45-2's are being shipped to you, a common problem is that the coils in the 8" bass drivers 'lock' and consequently won't work. This has happened to me and many others. If the coils are locked, the only option is to replace the units. I hope yours arrive OK. They are great sounding small speakers

I've sent you a PM with the engineers contact info. Dave.

To the original poster (adatia)- where are you?. If you're in the South of the UK, I may be able to give you the number of someone who can come to your house to look at it. He's done this already with another AV9000 owner who was going to sell hers as non-working but he fixed it in 30mins. Dave.
