The Beomaster 1001 could be wall mounted and was available in white but I think the face is only in black. Was it this model that you had? http://www.beoworld.org/prod_details.asp?pid=317 Otherwise, it must be the 1200 which come up on eBay quite regularly. http://www.beoworld.org/prod_details.asp?pid=320 Dave.

Under the amp section there should be a switch which you can switch dependant on the source (TV or audio). Try that. Do the amp power lights change from red/orange to green when they are switched on?

Hi Tony, the old dealer in Mulhouse used to be really good - very helpful, knew the products etc but the newest dealership is also cr*p! They haven't a clue about anything older than a few years, aren't interested in any repairs and just seem to want to operate like a high class Dixons shop. I'm not convinced that this situation is unique

Hi Jon, I know how frustrating this is as it happened on our 6-22 but only on BBC and it must have been out of syn by between half and a second. It takes away all viewing pleasure and is really distracting. We live in France and only have a simple digital receiver box but I found that the problem had nothing to do with the TV as such. I entered one

I've used the tape from that seller and it is mighty strong stuff. Good luck. Dave.

Dear fellow Beoworlders, in the past few months a couple of people have hed defunct AV9000 TV sets, one of which wa&s about to be almost given away for scrap. I contacted those people and gave them the name of a repair engineer who took no more than 30 minutes to repair each set. Hopefully giving their owners several more years of B&O enjoyment

There is normally an identification sticker or metal plate on the back of the unit. Is there no turntable with it? The right side often has a Beogram 1000 installed. I have one which is in almost mint condition which I picked up for 100 EUR. It plays and sounds really nicely - warm, deep sound. Enjoy it. Dave.

Graham, they were bargains of a lifetime! The Beolab 5000's are mint and cost 399 EUR including 2 brand new powerlink cables. I bought a pair of wall brackets for 30 EUR. All on eBay of course. The white Beosystem (minus the turntable) came in a job lot of AV9000 TV, Beosystem 7000 including a Beolink 7000 and table stand, LCS/Beolab 3500, a white

This may well be a nice example but I paid less than that for a white Beosystem 7000 and a pair of Beolab 5000 panel speakers!: http://cgi.ebay.de/Transistor-radio-Bang-Olufsen-Beolit-1000-/220712931122?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3363840f32 Dave.
