Henning: JoC: the new nano is just plain ugly When I first saw the new design, I thought "noooo, it's the fatty!", but now I have one, and I love it to pieces. It's just so beautiful... Well at this point, I'll have to eat some major humble pie, I got to play with one at the weekend, and the feckin thing is nice, really really

Just seen on the B&O homepage about the launch of a new magazine next week, does this mean that the catalogue is being replaced?

Thanks, a BMW 118d SE, 3 door (with all the bells & whistles), and no miles , but in debt for the foreseeable future, eek.

Doc: to who will your dealer possibly resell your MKII ?! (not that it is of your concern though...) Dunno, maybe it will end up being a shop floor demo unit, or he will sell it on as a 2nd hand unit, also depends on the price of the upgrade tho (my new BMW 1 arrived yesterday, so I am * well * short of cash ). My dealer told me, that for me to upgrade my current BV7-40 MKII (about 4 months old) will be about £1k, dunno if I should do it or not... I knew the MKIII was coming out, but I really, really needed a TV, and couldn't wait. JoC

amazon.com (US only) has just started a music service, mp3 & DRM free, and cheaper than iTunes.

Music downloaded from iTunes will be DRM protected, converting it to mp3 would be a bit of a headache. You can download DRM free tracks from iTunes BUT they cost more. Amazon.com (US only I think) has just started a music service, and all the tracks are mp3 & DRM free, and cost less than iTunes. JoC

Yup, I've had it playing XviD, as most of the stuff I download from Usenet is in that format. Never thought of trying a subtitled movie (or even a dual-audio tracked movie)

....mr anders(son): I do not change my cd on BS9000 so often so I have done this: Very nice, sort of puts my idea to shame ... Now if only B&O (or my dealer) would give out a consumer version of the update software, I could use the iTunes album art to do this also and not bug the dealer every other day - but that is another discussion I suppose
