• Re: Chicago store opens.

I quite like Chicago, and really liked the store on Oak St., I usually stay in or around Water Tower Place (North Michigan Ave.), any idea where the new store is in relation... i.e. would it be within walking distance.

  • Re: BEO5 configuration software

Thought about that, but of ALL the tv channels that are on the Beo5 BBC3, is the only one that don't work. I was thinking it maybe doing something weird with the starting "11"... but no software, no testing... and I am sure as hell aint driving again... I think I'll wait for the B&O dumbed down version.

jandyt: Bang and Olufsen, I have the deepest respect for you and I am one of your greatest fans, but.... Please, please, can you release the configuration software to Beo5 owners. Yes... and No... I've had my Beo5 for a couple of weeks now, it is a lovely piece of kit (when eventually setup correctly). I didn't want to ask the dealer for the

  • Re: When did you buy your BeoSound 9000?

Got mine in 1997, and brought it kicking and screaming into the digital age by hooking it upto an Apple Airport Express, so now I can stream the 10,000+ tracks from iTunes. Still looks amazing, and my friends still comment on it, after all this time

  • Re: Just ordered

Trucker: Hallo Joc, I too have a BV7 mrk II seven months old. And i am concidering and upgrading to mrkIII. How much will it cost to switch to the new, and the dealer would buy the markII? What did you have to pay for the switch over, if you delivered the mrk II to the dealer? Well, each dealer will probably charge a different amount for an upgrade

Keith Saunders: Beovision 7-40. Is it DVI-D? 1 x DVI-D Female For the MKII it is DVI-I, and this is an input only. For the MKIII it is DVI-D, and this is an output only.

  • Re: Problems with Sky on a BeoVision 7-40 Mark II

To be honest I wouldn't worry about it, the channel (along with several others) don't want to pay more money to broadcast in widescreen, and the TV tries it's best to fit the picture to the screen, which is why the logo is of the top. When you *force* the TV to fit the picture to 16:9 it adds the black bars. And to think channels like FX

Yup, same setup here, and same problem... To solve this, on the Beo4 press the 'List' button until the display says 'Format' then press 1, 2 or 3 to change the format of the screen. 3 (I think) forces the screen to 16:9 JoC

  • Re: Beo5 Icons & Logos

I would love to know this too... I just picked up my Beo5 yesterday (yipee!!!), and I designed CD icons, but whatever the dealer used to put them onto the Beo5 they looked a bit squashed, and he said icons can only be 100*44 and not 96*96 like I used. But then again he also refused to give me the config s/w (boo!!!), so I cant mess about, and so have
