Very nice setup. Can I ask what is the BV7 sitting on, I have been looking for something low, yet deep to put my BV7 on, and that actually looks very nice - for what I can see of it. Thanks.
i have been looking at a qnap nas solution to serve media files for my stb. i have two, slightly off-topic, questions. * is the license for twonky included, or is it a trial version ? * what made it a pain to setup ?
1. Yes the license for Twonky is included, altho the QNap is still at version 4.4.17, still

Well a Nas is just a that, a mini computer... Just packaged very small(ish), and designed to do the one job - to store data. Even your WD World Edition is just a Linux computer with an ARM9 processor. Nas's from the likes of Synology, QNap, Netgear, et-all, do have some 2, 4, 6, 8+ bay models so they can range in size... also bear in mind if you

At the moment I am using a QNAP TS-509 , it's populated with 5*1.5 TB disks, currently storing about 5500+ TV & DVD rips, so approx 2.5TB of storage used, with only another 3TB to fill .

Trade - in value may be painful now, but only if you opt in to the upgrade game :)
But the whole point in B&O was that it kept an excellent trade-in value. I guess I'm the only one that is suprised that the trade-in value of a 1-year-old MKIII BV7-40 shouldn't be only

I was talking to my dealer, and to get swap out the MKIII for the MKIV I would have to pay in the region of approx £3.5k (but then I suppose we do get an upgraded screen, BluRay, and whatever the new BeoSystem3 can do!!), but again this price is only valid until the 8th. Decisions, decisions... what to do... It would seem that the upgrade from

I never heard of the card, but when I went to buy my BV7-40, the dealer told me about it. So I paid for half the TV when I signed the order, then the other half a few days before the years interest free credit ran out, which gave me a bit of time to actually save for the TV I thought it was a good idea at the time, as it did let me pay for the TV I

Hmmm, just checked, 24 in IE and 339 in FireFox...

Well according to the front page the next draw won't happen for about another 339 days. So I think whatever option is chosen, it'll give plenty of time for us all to arange our schedules
