Dear Gang, I know this product has been mentioned on this site before, but it's now out of beta testing and is shipping (apparently just in the past day or two). It's called "RedEye" and it's by a company called ThinkFlood. I picked-up on it via one of the Apple rumor sites (MacDailyNews) that I was perusing today, and it looks

I never see any pics of the BV-7 sans drive. Does it look much different? I ask as it's tempting to consider the BV-7 with a separate component DVD/Blu-ray/Netflix player. That way there'd be no drive within the panel to eventually need to replace. Plus, it sounds like many of the third party Blu-ray players are better than B&O's when

Razlaw, I inquired about AST on the BV-7 55" a month or so ago. I was told that this was still being perfected, that it wouldn't be included with the BV-7 55" when that TV came out, but would be a software update to the BS3 that, in the future, would be compatible with the BV-7 55". M

This is probably an incredibly stupid question (but, then again, I'm it's source): Is the ability to play Dolby True HD or DTS HD something that could be acquired through a future software update to the BS3? M

I don't mean to hijack this thread with a question about the BV-7 55", but Stefan's list made me think. Do we have any idea if B&O will update the BS3 on this bigger BV-7 to handle HD audio? Also, any idea if the remote control of the BR will change on the bigger BV-7? Mark

Moxxey, Was it primarily the BL 7.6's size that added to the comical effect? In other words, if you had the BL 7.2 under that TV and therefore the speaker wasn't pushing beyond the panel, would it have looked better? M

Trolle, How'd the BL 7-6 sound? Mark

Two questions for the group: -if you wanted a Netflix / additional Blu-ray player to attach to this new BV-7 (or any new B&O TV), would you go with one of the higher end, stand-alone Samsung models or would you go the Playstation 3 route? Which would be quieter and work better with B&O's PUC? -it sounds like the primary difference between

Razlaw, Thank you again for your insights about the BV-7 and how it's mass turns. Conceptualizing that (which I'm hopefully doing in an accurate manner) actually helps out a lot in terms of making that space work. I've got another question for you: the base of the BL-7 55" on it's low stand is apparently in the 22" range in

Razlaw, In the picture that Elephant was kind enough to post, the wicker love seat directly in front of the TV (you can see the back of it which appears oval) would be replaced with a sofa. To the right of the image (where the two chairs are) another sofa would be placed. This sofa in the area of the two chairs is where I'd need the BV-7 to turn
