I've got another BL-11 question for the group: In talking with one of the B&O dealerships on this side of the pond, I get the impression that B&O is marketing the BL-11 as a good sub for the BL-4s and BL-6000 class of speakers, and suggesting that the BL-3s probably deserve the more powerful BL-2. Thoughts? I'd been thinking about getting

I keep in touch with "BeoFab", though not as well as I used to. I believe that he primarily lives in NYC now, but he travels a lot to Hawaii and Europe (I think his mother lives in Switzerland). I'll direct him to this thread. For the record, I came on board with BeoWorld Mk1 and was always treated so nicely by BeoWorld'ers. This is

Dear Gang, Just received my iPad 3G and I'm enjoying playing with it. I'd planned to hook my BL4s up to the iPad via the iPad's keyboard / dock (via it's "line out" port), but in reading the instructions for the keyboard / dock, it says that volume must be controlled on the speakers themselves rather than with the volume up

Moxxey, I don't think I have the room to have the tall stand with the BL 7.4 and I don't have the space or money for the BL 9s (though I'd love to have those speakers - in fact, I've been admiring your posts about how good your set-up is). Anyone else out there with BL3s and a BL 7.1/7.2/7.6 that could offer an opinion on how much of

JJ, thank you for your response. Anyone else out there with BL3s and a BL 7.1/7.2/7.6 that could offer an opinion on how much of a difference there'd be between a BL 7.6 versus a BL3 / BL11 combo as it pertains to listening to music? M

I've got a question for the group: I'm about to get a BV-7 55" (I've been waiting to redo some cabinets to fit the TV first). I'm going to get the BL 7.6 with it. My only regret is that while I'm going through the expense of redoing the cabinets and paying for an expensive TV, I sure wish I was upping the ante in terms of my

Pioneer's new A/V receivers have some built in technology that I'd love to see on a B&O audio or video device: http://macdailynews.com/index.php/weblog/comments/24207/

This discussion is very interesting to me as I'd like to use one ATV as both an audio and a video source (at separate times). In these forums, I've posed the question before as to whether or not it would be possible to do so and not have the LCD panel ever turn on (i.e. not have to hit the Picture Mute button as Affineur suggests). I've

Trip, Thank you for such a detailed answer and for your insights. That's just the sort of info I was seeking, and, quite frankly, it's one of the many reasons I so enjoy perusing this site. Considering what you do for a living, I've got another, somewhat unfair question for you: As a lover of B&O devices - particularly their speakers

Trip, What do you think of relatively inexpensive solutions like the ThinkFlood hardware and software that relies on the iPhone / iPod / iPad to do the heavy computing and organization of codes, macros, etc.? From my humble perspective, that looks like this offers the perfect solution as it allows the user to easily program their devices using up-to
