Any word on when we can expect the oft mentioned but oft delayed B&O iPod dock? Mark
-
Keith, Thank yo so much for answering that question for me - overall, that's good news. I'm anticipating getting a BV-7, and the idea of getting a Beo 5 programmed for my AV system is daunting. Now I just wish there were a way to have the "TV" button turn on the cable box in addition to the TV, but I guess the "macros" will

Keith, I hate that I'm so dense, but as no one has answered this question for me yet, would you please do so? Will this new Beo 4 operate a DVD or Blu-Ray more intuitively on a BV-7 (i.e. will we be able to forego the dual pushing of buttons to skip chapters)? TIA, Mark

Mika, Thank you so much for your insights - that's valuable info. Now I need to find a B&O knowledgable repair person in the southeast US. Mark

Keith, When the type 1710 Beo 4 is used with a compatible TV and in set in "MODE 1", will the Beo 4 operate the disc player in a BV-7 in a more intuitive way than the current Beo 4 - i.e. can you skip back and forth amongst Blu-Ray or DVD chapters with one button press (like with the Beo 5) instead of having to hit the yellow button first

Dear Gang, I need some advice about what I should do with some B&O gear that I've accumulated. I would ideally like to sell it, but as it's in various states of repair, I don't know if it's worth it to do so (i.e. the shipping costs and angst of selling might negate any profit) and that's why I'm seeking advice from the group

Dear Gang, Do you see anything in this new remote's button design to indicate that the new Beo 4 will operate more logically with stuff like the BV-7's Blu-Ray player - i.e. do you think things like skipping to the next chapter on a disc will involve one press of a button like on the Beo 5 remote as opposed to the series of button presses required

Razlaw, Congrats! I'm envious.

TripEnglish, Thank you for taking the time to respond. I find that reassuring as I would like a little more bass from the BL3s, but I don't like some of the issues expressed on this forum about the BL2 (which in addition to maybe being slower, just seems too bass-y to me). BTW, do you have an opinion on how much of a jump the BL3 / BL11 combo would
-
Razlaw, I have now tried the BL-4s with the iPad (i.e. since I first posted the above question which no one responded to). They sound great - though, I think I'll eventually need that "BL-3 rubber ring" solution which was reported here as a way to slightly lift BL-4s placed on a table top to increase their bass. With regard to my original
