A new foil is available as a spare from B&O - I fitted one to my son's BC2300 a couple of years ago because a couple of the buttons didn't work. It comes with a set of screws to refit the back plate once you have removed the plastic welds to disassemble. I think it cost about £30. Guy

I finally got around to setting up the Foxsat HDR system yesterday - together with a 1.2m satellite dish that is needed to get UK freeesat in this part of the world! The dish took a bit of aligning but was easy once I connected a sat finder. The Humax HDR's a great bit of kit and works really well with the BV3 STB-C. Unlike my old STB, there's

Easiest option is therefore to lay Masterlink cable from the BS4000 to each of the link rooms. In the main room you'd need some sort of distribution box to split the masterlink to each room, then in each normal link room you'd need a Beolink Active kit including a round IR eye. Each beolink active then connects to Beolabs with powerlink cable

The BC4000 has neither PowerLink connections (usually needed to connect active speakers such as yours), nor any connections for Masterlink or Master Control Link - needed for a wired round the house set up. Is your main hifi definitely BC4000? (Edit - do you mean Beo Sound 4000, the US version of the BC2500?)

I have just had a look at the labelling of my MCL 2AV (type 2020) and to the right of the transceiver entry point are pictures of the two speaker sockets - whereas the 2075 shown appears to have two-way arrows of some sort. What were you after a 2075 anyway - what does it do?

Sorry to mislead - you are right! It should indeed be +ve down on the right!

positive downwards for both batteries

BC2300 is not Beoport compatible - see here: http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/p/20223/150793.aspx#150793

Gosh it's complex - I might have more luck getting a Lintronic to control my BM2400-2 by some fancy ultra-sonic interface!

Thanks for the response Mika! I think that if and when I buy the Lintronic I'll stick to the basics, but maybe have a quick go of getting the MCP to work some simple one-way functions; of course it already does some but it would be nice to have the volume dial working, but perhaps this is only possible with two way?
