Ok, so I connected pin 1 (power link mk2 'Speaker On') to pin 4, and it suddenly works. Is there any good reason why I shouldn't do this? I don't really like taking two separate wires and twisting them together like this. :P

Hi guys, I've finally had time to do some more work with my B&O equipment. :) If you want to skip straight to my problem, look for the underlined text. Because I've got a pair of Pentas standing in my basement not connected to anything, I got the idea that I wanted to connect them to my squeezebox. My thought was that if I were successful

Jeg vurderer å selge mitt beocenter 9500 med beolink 5000, da det bare står og støver ned hjemme hos mine foreldre. CD-spilleren er overhalt slik at den leser cd-r uten problemer. Hi Bulgarien, Thanks for all the pictures! Really nice. Do you really think that soldering all the connections is well worth the hassle? It is a lot of work disassembling the speakers, and I am afraid that I'm going to dent or scratch them in the process! I have replaced all the capacitors in both the crossovers and the amp, and I think the speakers

Congratulations on your new system! I have the exact same, and it is great! To connect ordinary passive speakers to it you need a special connector/cable called speakerlink described in the beginning of this page: http://beoworld.org/beotech/wiring2.htm Disregard the data and shield part, you wont need these. This is what the connector that goes into
