  • Re: Connect BeoPort to masters

Thanks for the advice. In the interim I did what I had done earlier and simply connected the Mini and Beoport with a 3.5mm audio cable and hey presto, sound! Don't know why it didn't work before. Now to the other issues. 1. N.Music and N.Radio are working fine but of course, as you suggest, I can't use the BV as a monitor to find music more

  • Connect BeoPort to masters

Hi Beophiles. I have just moved my Beoport from my office/Macbook into my loungeroom which has a BV10 and BC2 and MacMini Server. I want to connect the Beport to the MV10/BC2 and use BM-Link for Net Music/Net Radio while using Front Row for video stuff. I don't want to use my iPhone to control everything because I go away often and would take the

Aha! Yes I have the Beoport box. So let me get this right. I can delete all Beoplayer files on my computer and just run Beoport as it also contains Beoplayer. Therefore I need never worry about updating Beoplayer, only Beoport. Yes? Thanks Keith. eric

  • Re: Beoport installation and Windows user accounts

Thanks for the info. I have service pack 3 installed and all other updates, uncluding Beoport and Beoplayer 8.1. When I turn on the computer and log in I automatically get the Beoplayer Repair/Upgrade install window, despite the fact that it is already installed and upgraded. It does this every time. Not only that, when I opt to install it (again) it

  • Beoport installation and Windows user accounts

G'day. I'm pretty much tired of the poblems I have with Beoport and am hoping someone can put an end to my frustrations. Firstly, I just downloaded and installed the new version of Beoport, which took a few inatallations before it worked properly. I'm using Windows XP. But now the program wants to reinstall each time I logon, or each time

  • Re: non B&O sub from BL6000s

Hey David, thanks for the Lintronic tip-off, I found em online and will order the receiver tomorrow. Solves all my remote nightmares in one easy package. Like the look of the new Beo5, might indulge when it comes out. Seems the AS2 might be the one. eric

yes, a second recommendation of the PV1, though it seems I need something with an auto on/off, not sure if it has it, will check it our online. A local hi-fi shop stocks them too. Anyway, thanks for all the responses, it's helped clear up a few things and stopped me from making an uninformed and wasteful purchase. To the drawing board... eric

  • Re: non B&O sub from BL6000s

Good point, I don't really want to turn it on or off every time. Can you suggest a sub that would suit what I need, running from the PowerLink 2 from the BL6000. How do you have your non-B&O sub connected and what are you using?

Lintronic? Enlighten me. I've just decided not to go with the Delphonica, would be a shame to couple a B&O system to such a thing. It will be the AS1 I reckon.
