• Re: software updates

As discussed in this thread: http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/p/41987/349035.aspx#349035 Build 210 is the latest software build for Beovision 10-46. Mine is being updated tomorrow morning due to sound issues with build 165 / 166 that I currently have (cannot remember now which one). I don't know if the software build differs between MK I and MK

  • Re: Update to Beovision 10-46 vs. jump to 7-55?

Thanks for your opinions! :) The size of BV7-55 is indeed huge, and I'd definitely like it with the triangular BeoLab 10 as the center speaker. This kind of reminds me of AV9000, a design that I always liked. 7-55 is a bit over 25 cm wider (140 cm) than 10-46 (113 cm), and it's not slim by any means. But on a floor stand, I don't think slimness

  • Update to Beovision 10-46 vs. jump to 7-55?

Hi everyone, As an owner of BeoVision 10-46 Mk I, and with the urge to upgrade my setup, I have some questions perhaps some of you have insight on: - Are there updates coming to BeoVision 10-46 in the near future? Any information, any guesses? 3D version, new panel, etc.? Samsung has produced newer panels since BeoVision 10-46 Mk II came out -- does
- Based on Bang & Olufsen’s core values such quality materials and elegant design, the B&O PLAY line will consist of stand-alone products, with a wider appeal and lower prices. (Dkatz - note the lower price requirement) - The classic Bang & Olufsen brand will continue to exist and represent luxury electronics
I wish some of you guys will please stop talking about the BS8 is some kind of bargain, you are just encouraging B&O. There are so many better systems out there in terms of performance and build quality and a third of the price. This product is pure fake and total rubbish. Sorry guys, you are stuck in your own
I would possily use some more metal as well to make it look more expensive than the plasticky look that the BS8 has. Those little legs alone look like they could break off in a sinch and it looks cheap overall, something that's not good for a 900 pound unit.
Obviously, you've never screwed those two little
KMA – You are sending a link to Apple propaganda on their website. Of course they are going to say they have the best standards, etc... That link was probably put up after all the scandal a year or so ago! It's to cover their asses...
Dkatz, can you point me to reliable sources (articles, studies) that

  • Re: Bang and Olufsen Outsourced

About outsourcing, in this case done by Apple to China, I can see why they cannot produce quality products: http://www.apple.com/supplierresponsibility/ Conditions and standards are horrific! How dare they! Since all outsourcing to China (or other "cheap" countries) is considered a no-no, which leads to bad quality, I suppose B&O -- a
