Guess what, it's working perfectly! I left it alone for two hours and tried it again. Hopefully the second cleaning of the board did it. I'll try it again tomorow in full daylight. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

My Beolink 7000 (type 1540) indicated ''no contact''. Removing and adding components did not work. I went through the forums and read about the capacitor problem. I changed the two next to the IR eyes with 22/16V types as indicated on the forum and it worked fine. Very happy. For three hours. I now have changed the other 3 as well. Still

The Beosystem 4500 that I just got works perfectly, but every night at 21.30 it turns down the lights connected to LC2's. The Beolink 7000 that I got with a recently bought Beosystem 7000, is being repaired by my dealer. Is there any way that I can clear the light programming that is still in the Beomaster 4500 without the Beolink 7000. I have several

Yes I did a crazy thing. Bought a beautiful mint condition Beosystem 4500. Opened all three components and cleaned them, greased the Beocord and just lined them up together with a pair of Beolab 4000's. It works perfectly and there are absolutely no scratches on any of the surfaces. Now the main problem: my girlfriend thinks that we don't not
