As you say, "people still buy them", which is mainly why B&O never drops the prices... As for BeoSound 6, TBS in his interview said that it is like comparing the VW Touareg to the Porsche Cayenne: OK Torben, but the Porsche is not 5 times more expensive than the VW!! With 4 times fewer options! Now that B&O is going "solid state

Hi & thanks for this second review, which brings even more "practical" everyday information about what one can (or can't!) do with Serenata. The texting issue is my biggest concern, I still wonder why on earth couldn' t they make the whole display touch-sensitive? This would have made dialing/texting 100 times easier! And quicker

I have one big request for Lee: would it be possible to copy the user guide from the CD ROM that came with the Serenata and put it on line? The official website's user guide is just a "getting started" intro, and it is not as detailed as the one on the CD ROM.. That would be great !

Slightly off-topic, but I've downloaded the Beta version of BeoPort available on Serenata's website, and it works great! Now all NMUSIC albums have the original CD cover , and if the albums don't have any, you can always copy/paste any picture you like ; the user guide is only in English for the moment, and I seem to have seen one line saying

Hi Lee, thanks for the great review, the pictures help get a better idea of how "big" the phone is, and also lets us see the accessories & details like the glass used for the display. I do have a couple of questions: - does it have an FM radio, or just digital music playback? - B&O talked about the "line in" connection to

I like the T3 video on YouTube, it looks like a great commercial teaser and then the last information is :.....but it costs GBP 1,000 !! Up to you to understand whether they mean "You'll never get it" or "only for the haves, sorry!" or "start saving now!"

Now that I've read the user guide, I'm having mixed feelings about daily use as a phone.. The display is only partly sensitive, you have to use the wheel to dial a number or write text for an SMS, so instead of direct key for each letter/digit, you have to make (at least) two actions: first turn the wheel to highlight the right character, then

Have a look at B&O's Mediacenter, you get pictures of Earset 3 with the Serenata: it is just an upgraded A8 earphone set with a microphone on the wire..yet, looking at the Serenata/Earset 3 connection, I can't help wondering why B&O once again made some proprietary socket for plugging it only to Serenata (and maybe Serene), & making

From what I can read on the French presentation, the display is touch-sensitive! So dialing a number or writing an SMS seems to be made by pressing on the display that comes to life with either a retro-style dial for numbering, or a combination of letters & characters for SMSing. look at the presentation under the "phone" section, you'll

It looks very interesting, the web presentation is not complete but you get the same "luxury" feeling that you get from the main catalogue. I wonder how often the magazine will be issued?
