I was browsing on the site, and after the excitement of the first press releases and reviews, I found out that BeoWorld still has no Serenata shown in the product page (either as telephone or MP3 player), nor in the user guide section...so ????

To be quite frank, I thought the Samsung would be for me, because I can't get used to the long dialing/texting process of Serenata..but then I looked at the Samsung pictures, and the phone is quite ...boring, designwise! To say the least...So I won't buy it either, I'll keep my Nokia!

Thomas, Connecting BeoPort + Avant + Ouverture will work with lots of limitations...I had this setup & sold the Ouverture, first because it became quickly useless with thousands of NRADIO stations available, and also because it eventually had to be disconnected from the Masterlink network. To operate all 3 products I had to put the Ouverture in

I'm afraid only the latest DVD players in the B&O range (that is, as from BV7-40) are making it possible to step through DVD chapters by a simple pressure on the arrows. Before that, you needed to press GO, then the arrow (BeoCenter 1, DVD1, BV7-32 etc). On the contrary, when playing a CD audio, only one direct pressure on the up or down arrows

Hi, your BeoPort can act as audio master with your BV3, I use mine like that: I have a BV3 32 with the Dolby card, linked to BeoPort via Masterlink, and no audio master at all. Video system is in option 2, BeoPort as well (as I have the IR eye, otherwise stick to option 0). The nice thing is that when you press "CD" , it starts the PC CD

BeoVision 5 ...simple perfection..

The "real" & accurate tech specs are in the service manuals, if you look at the one for BeoLab 6000 & 3500 you'll find out that the first specs given by B&O were correct , then the bass response was lifted in the next catalogues for who knows what (commercial?) reason.

Most MP3 players have a frequency response that falls at 15 Hz, so I wouldn't be surprised that this applies only to the SD card reader part in BS3. The speaker system itself is rated at 60-20,000 Hz I think. It wouldn't be the first time B&O gives us false tech specs, actually in the past they have withdrawn all the data that were negative

It seems we are 2 people from Reunion, but who is the second person? I have no idea! How strange is Internet sometimes, I can chat with Lee & Peter but not with someone who's on the same island! Modern communication...

As far as I know, the Serenata can playback AAC files, as well as WMA and MP3. I wonder how naive B&O can be if they thought Samsung would not make a lower priced twin model for the Serenata, and with more features..(reminds me of a BeoSound 6 and a.....sorry, that's the other way 'round!)
