Actually I think the wheels are not that intuitive either. I think an interface using the touch sensitive aluminium would have been far more in keeping with B&O technology. By all means make a wheel shape, but make it work by touch alone. And use the patented translucent aluminium technolgy as a feedback medium. I

I am so glad I am not one of the poor souls in Struer trying to please you lot with new products. Thread after thread talks about the B&O magic, engaging interfaces, magic etc etc. The you get....
It could have easily been touchscreen!
A big part of what makes B&O B&O, is that they don't just do
Most of these people do not have the technical skills nor willpower to starting installing Twonky Media simply to link their iTunes audio to their B&O equipment.
One key advantage of supporting AirPlay is that you can use your iPhone or iPad (or computer) as a remote. You can then assign your music to stream to multiple AirPlay devices, without anything being connected. For example, the Zeppelin has, effectively, the Airport Express built in to it. This means you could walk from

I must be odd! I can't see any reason why I would want to stream something from my phone to my BS5 which already has my entire music collection on it. However, being able to stream stuff from the BS5 to my phone which I can't fit my whole collection on, is cool! That way I can isten on the A8s in the garden, or the BS8 in the kitchen. Like I

I'm going to go against the flow here and say I'd rather airplay wasn't built in, fo the same reason I'd rather use a seperate blu-ray player on a BV7. A BS5, even in encore form, is a big investment and something you will want to keep for years. I'd rather keep the airport seperate, so that when Apple update at some point in the

  • Re: strange round IR eye

Sound like an IR eye with autocontrast. Used on a BeoSystem with drop down screen, a BV7 with projector where the screen blocks the IR, or an early BV4 without the zit on the top.
