  • Re: BEOVOX M100 SPEAKERS -REPLACEMENT "PEERLESS" FILLER DRIVER UNIT 11.5CM X 11.5CM

Hi everybody, The fillers are in!!! They look superb and sound fine. Probably still need some time to loosen up a bit. The job was quite easy, actually. As the spider of these smaller units is quite sturdy, Fred at Audiofriends.nl said that you don't really need the clothespegs nor the shimming method. So I used neither and hoped for the best. You

A while ago I picked up a set of M100.2 's for free! They have terrible foamrot in the fillers, which I already have taken out. I plan to do it myself as in the thread of JandyT on his S120's In another thread on replacing foamsurround on woofers, Martin said that you have to carefull with this. As I understand the relaxed position of the speaker

  • Re: Prize Draw Prizes

Hi Lee, Was on holiday and your email probably drowned in the hotmail trash can glglllbllaaabla after five days. I doubt if I ever will be sighted wearing a baseball cap, but hey why not send it over. T-shirts should be either XL for me or XS for my son. Warm regards and the effort you put into the prizedraw is much appreciated, Matthijs.

  • Re: Tangential tracking turntable

Peter: They do come up. However they were in p-roduction for less time than the 4002 and so there are fewer. They are also complex and some will have been deemed beyond economic repair. The really rare one is the 6000 whuch only comes up infrequently. One turned up at dutch "ebay" if you're interested. Don't try offering anything for

ProGram: Hi Matthijs! It's one of those: http://clou.msg-at.net/frontend/index.cfm?SEI_ID=360&CFID=1730256&CFTOKEN=41515491, and perhaps some parquet-wax or clear varnish. Chris Hi Chris, Will go and check if that stuff is available in the Netherlands. Thanks, Matthijs.

Hi Chris, What do you use for staining the raw wood? I'd like to bring some colour back into the top of a pair of S60's. Regards, Matthijs.

  • Re: Restore rosewood veneer on '70s S45 Loudspeaker - help!

So much for thorough enthousiasm I guess that rings of beer glasses and vases on top of the cabinet do need grinding... I know palisander is a strange word for brazilian rosewood (dalbergia nigra) and used in different manners, so I try to avoid it. But the dyeing process is new to me. What additive would you recommend to get the nice reddish color
