I am hoping to upgrade bv7-40 mkiii to 3d version but the dealer said it only worth it if tv is 50'' or above is anybody of the same opinion? I would love a pair of even used bl5 Vince

Trip Interesting thought would you want to see customers buying third party screens which can be updated and integrated by bs3 so that it serves as the av processor? Vince

Dudley Your post is correct. dealers are telling me that there is no change in panel ie mkv withe 3D built in No change in price for 3d but price reduction for non3d is confirmed 55 is upgraded panel Regards Vince

I agree . I also had it over my house with the ZP90 connected to BV10-32, 740 and BL8000 on its own. People may differ on the opinion on sound quality, but is good enough for me. The only disadvantage is that if you connect to TV it has to be switched on first but not for direct connection to BLs. I really want to justify myself to buy an encore but

sorry no idea, no techno geek! i presume factory settings? went by Harrods again to pick up a 3d blue ray sony (good value with discount and multi region) in preparation for 7-40 3d screen only non DVD £5300, with 3d blue ray £7700! Vince

At 14.5k the price of a new BL5 is getting a little stretched, certainly when at launch price of 10k is very reasonable. At Harrods I compared the Panasonic 103 and went to the knightsbridge store to watch the 85 soon after, somehow the 85 is much more vivid and more'alive'.. The 'extras' that B&O has put on is certainly worth the
