Yes indeed.Underneath the platter are two cam adjusters, one for 17cm and tother for 30.They are marked. Some trial and error is needed to get the cueing position just right. Nick

If you can get another crt of the original Type, there should'nt be any problem.Ideally the crt is supplied with integral scan coil assembly. If you can't get the original crt (B&O part)you can use another Philips crt and transfer the scan coils from the original crt,but will probably need to adjust the geometry. Great tv,worth restoring. There

I have a working Euro spec VX5500,but I fear it won't play NTSC tapes? If you need it shipping to the US,I guess the cost would be prohibitive,it's a heavy machine. Regards, Nick

I'm having to cull my collection of beotreasures, and have a white LX2502 tv with matching swivel stand. It's fully functional, and has two av ports,so can be used with Sky,Freeview etc etc,dtv boxes and pvr's etc. It's free for collection from U.K.West Midlands.I'd like to think of it being used somewhere. It's worth checking if F3 (1.6a fuse)on the fuse board to the rear of the cd mech has blown.I've had this go for no apparent reason. It supplies the voltage for the main muting circuit.Otherwise, double check all interconnecting cable looms are in place. If still no joy,you will need to do some signal tracing.Do you have a manual? Nick

Silly question praps, but have you got the cables mixed up?Beogram cd cables are marked "phono".Could you be using the tape cable? Have you tried connecting the cd50 via the rca connectors rather than din, just to check that sound is def not coming out of the player? The disc won't start when you load it manually, only when you press play

What are you using the machine with, and how is it connected? Does the display on the front indicate that the disc is playing normally? Nick

It's gratis sir!!!It's an unknown quantity, but I assume it's a live one.It might be prudent to fit an i.c. socket when you remove your faulty chip? Let me know where to post it.I'll remove it from the panel to reduce postage. Regards, Nick
