HI you can convert component to RGB scart and it will work locally, but when its modulated on the link the picture is grainy black and white, i believe this is to do with the way component and RGB sync the color so you have to use a scaler to convert to composite. Andy

I have beoVision 9, Beovision 7, and 8 with a 9000 and BeoLab1 blah blah blah i love the stuff its very addictive. Hi I am just trying to understand this post, as surley i agree for the first TV that the IR blaster is installed in it will control the DVD.. But if you go to TV 2 in another room that TV will think the DVD player is local too it as you have told that TV DVD is in X port (i.e where you have plugged the HDMI) and will not use TV one's IR blaster

Hi i Have my mac mini plugged into by beovision9 and with works great i have had the PUC updated and it now has Apple Remote as the IR set problem is i want to get the remote to open front row like the menu button on a genuine apple remote does but i cannot get it to work Does anyone know the key setting that does it, as once in front row the up down

No its purely that sky box does not send the 5.1 signal in HDMI they only send stereo so its not that HDMI does not do i know it does its just the cleaver people at sky dont use it for some reason.. I assume other people with vision 9 must have this issue, its fine with other things like my mac mini and DVB-t etc its just sky hd.... Its driving me mad

Hi i have just had intalled a beovision 9 and a new Sky HD box and they are connected by HDMI and then Coax for the audio as HDMI does not give 5.1 I am having major issues with lip sync and its differant depending on the channel. i have played with the sky delay setting and it sort of works but its random.. Any ideas? Does anyone else have this issue

OK Great thanks I also seem to have two little bugs. One is for some reason no matter what i put in the code behind the button, i.e a Macro of TV:CNTL_1 + TV_CNTL_REWIND which is meant to do TV Guide then Green for Planner when i press it Sky just shows 0 on the screen, if i delete the button and add it again it fixes this and works ok but it randomly

is there a scheme that shows what code equal what i.e i want to know what code red, green, blue and yellow are i see people say green is FFWD or something but why would it be fastforward that seems strange.. Thanks Andy
