Does anyone know which surrounds were used in the 6000's? I've looked high and low and can't find out, but I'm guessing the forum will make quick work of it. Thanks!

As usual: PETER TO THE RESCUE!!! Thanks, brother.

I've got an 8000 in good condition, but has a soon-to-be-fatal problem. The 8000 has a laminated plastic ring on its hub with markings to establish its speed. That laminated plastic is beginning to curl. Uh oh! The 8002 has a similar ring, but it's metal, and I've heard that it's identical and can be used to replace the plastic one on

Undoubtedly a bargain for me ... I can do a LOCAL pickup .... Hmmmm .... MORE B&O???

Hah! Thanks! BUT ... have you heard of the Win superelliptical stylus? It was supposedly tried by B&O for the 20 CL back in 1980 and only a few were made. (And - WOW! you're fast!) P.S. - This one did, indeed, come with the universal connector .. warranty card, etc.) SDB

I recently came into a NOS MMC20 CL-C. The final "-C" apparently specifies that this cartridge has a rare stylus called the "Win super-ellipsoid" stylus. I'm eager to find a time when I can properly set it up and give it a listen along side my MMC20 CL and other "20" series cartridges. Anyone know anything about this

Thanks, everyone! And to all of you who have 4004's, I have a question: Can I have your dustcover? :-)
-
DOINK!! I'm going to try it! The deck's not set up at the moment, but soon will be. Thanks!

I've got a BG4004 and a Beocenter 2200 ... I can't see how it can be done, but thought I'd ask here just in case I'm missing something. I have a Mobile Fidelity LP that's in the 12", 45 rpm format. Seems I've found the downside to automation ...
