  • Re: New House, New System........????????????

My my, how time marches on! We've been in for about 18 months now, and loving it especially the hard-wired B&O! Haven't finished off the complete media management system, so still got CD's in boxes and playing them individually. Have used the SD card too but find the quality a bit "thin". Now the ipad is here I think I'll

  • Re: Please Help - Beolab 3500

Thanks very much everyone, but I've now managed to find a very friendly and useful service guy in the South Island, and I'm very pleased with the price of spare parts too! Cheers Peter

Thanks for the help camshaft, but it seems there is a local cartel type control over this and the single other store over here can't help either! Anyone else keen to advise?

  • Please Help - Beolab 3500

Hi again all, yet another e-bay damage problem for the naive and all too distant B&O buyer from down under. Bought a Lab 3500 from Germany from a well respected e-bayer who was happy for pick ups etc etc. I had to use a German friend to bid as he wouldn't post overseas. My brother and friend bought it on behalf and it all looked great cosmetically

Ok, I'm due to visit our nearest B&O store in Auckland on Tuesday to see what their prognosis is, but before I do that is there anyone out there who has had one of these apart? Cheers all Peter

  • Re: Beosound 4 transit damage!

Thanks for the post, I may well yet do the same and at least have the peace of mind that it's fixed. I am however a tenacious bu**er, so will not yet admit I need an expert - much the same as never needing a map for directions I guess! Anyone prepared to let me into the trade secret of open case surgery on a Beosound 4? Cheers Peter

Thanks you for your help opman! I may yet wall mount the unit so I think I'll just wait and see if I get a wall bracket now. Now.... any takers for my door problem? That clicking noise can't be doing any good! Cheers Peter

  • Beosound 4 transit damage!

Hi all, Well I decided that I needed an upgrade and went for one on e-bay from La Belle France! Probably should have waited for one with original packaging, as this one received some transit damage! It does however work, and now that I've changed the language I can at least see what it's telling me it's up to! I love the look and the very
