  • Re: Disappointed with BV8-40

The firmware for the tv has been updated about 2 months ago, can you please let me know what version of the firmware that address the STB probolem? I am 100% sure the sound is not coming from the speaker of the tv, it is clearly coming from the back of the tv.

I am not sure what caused the noise but it does sound like its coming from the fan and I am sure the dealer has changed the unit because they deliver it to my door and took the old one back. From what I can gather ( by talking to my dealer ), they are not sure what caused it as well. The noise is immediate when I switch on appletv or ps 3 ( both connected

  • Disappointed with BV8-40

After a year of owning BV8-40, I am actually disappointed with this purchase. There problem is with the sporadic "clicking" noise that creep up while watching it. It is especially annoying during quieter scenes of a movie, totally ruins the experience with that noise clicking away in the back ground. My dealer has exchange the tv once and

  • Beomaster 3500 + beolab 6000 + beolab 2 and Panasonic TV

I have recently upgraded beolab 6000 to 8000 and giving the 6000s to my brother. He got a Panasonic plasma tv and I am trying to overcome the volume control issue with a beomaster 3500 as preamp for those speakers. Is a Beolab 2 wasted in this set up? since the signal will be coming out of the TV via RCA line out with no specific sub socket. If I connect

  • Re: Fan Noise from New Beovision8-40

Yeah I got the same noise fan, I have posted it here before, the tv is making clicking noises. They swap a tv for me but the noise is still there, I guess this is how that tv is built.

  • Beovision 8 software question.

I remember a while ago, I read a thread that stats the new software for Beovision 8 enable speaker 1 option in video. Is this correct because I can't find the thread anymore, and my dealer said that B & O do not have a sw release that I described.

[quote user="Chrisreunion"] The real amazement with B&O is that we fans always are excited about something that all other manufacturers have been doing for ages, and B&O is always the last one to jump in: - BeoVision 10 is mainly designed for wall placement, something that all flat screen manufacturers did from the beginning, with

yeah I second that, unless they brought out a larger version, otherwise I will not give up my BV7-40. But it does look nice on the wall.
