Thanks Doug & Geoff, You have totally explained it to me. Was messing around last night with it, and yep I have found that as I am fairly central with BL9's behind left & right & BL5's up front left & right that indeed I find my sound quality better without AST on. For music, I simply use the stereo BL5's and if I want an

Thanks Doug, that explains quite nicely how its working etc, however I am still not quite understanding the way it works with the existing system. If I select AST say preset 1 whilst watching a film, does it know and switch to a 5.1 surround, or does AST work only really on stereo fields?...If i select speaker 2 on the TV ( for front left & right

  • AST Help & Understanding

I have read up on the AST & am a little confused. I have a BV40 with a 7.2 underneath, BL5's front & BL9's at the rear/also connected is a BS5. Just to clarify the cable I mentioned was not just a cable it was 40 mtrs of cable that needed routing around

  • Re: BS 5 software update

You know this totally **** me off. Like many here I dare say I have spent ££££on B&O gear, and I bought a BS5 as my dealer told me that there was updates coming that meant you would, and I quote here 'see the BS5 browsing screen on your TV and be able to select music exactly as if you were stood infront of the BS5'

  • Re: Serene Picture messages problem

Nope, its not the network, its something to do with the way the phone handles it. I have sent the same pics onto several people on various networks including my own 02 and they get nice big pics...the serene is doing something to cause this problem....help!...I wonder if it is something they have updated. It is obviously makes picture messaging pretty

  • Serene Picture messages problem

I have a serene which I love, in fact had it for well over a year now, longest Ive ever had a particular phone for. Yes it has quirks, but i can live with them. My biggest issue at the moment is that when I receive a picture from someone it comes through as really small, 2cms x 2 cms...this makes it really hard to view it with it being so small. The
