Very nice analogy Lee, I went from 9's to 5's and never looked back, the difference to me is mind blowing. I then put my 9's as rears and after about 6 months I thought what would 5's sound like as rears too. Well I got an offer for a pair of (one year old, not even broken in yet) second hand 5's, offer was to good to refuse. Can

I highly recommend trying them at various dealers before parting with that amount of money. The dealer should be doing everything he/she can to convince you that the BL5's are worth every penny. Product knowledge is a must in the A/V field. I've had my BL5's for 4 years now and they amaze me everytime I sit in front of them.

Yes, I understand the fundamental difference but it's much the same thing. An entire car stereo is more than just a part. McLaren's entire engine is made by Riccardo, that's more than just a part. Sure it's one part of the car and not the entire unit, but we're not talking wire loom here. Designed by McLaren and manufactured to their

[quote user="Alex"] Ferrari doesn't need to worry about outsourcing manufacturing because there's always a demand for their product regardless of price. Furthermore, buyers are always prepared to make a significant investment in an automobile. Same applies to watches and jewelry. Consumer electronics is a completely different animal
