hi guys - update on this.... looks like all of the items have now found homes, although i'm still waiting confirmation from the buyer of the cabinet on courier costs. thanks to everyone for their comments.

Sadly nobody on here seemed interested! going on ebay tonight - hopefully to a good home! if someone is genuinely interested please let me know before the end of the auction and i will settle outside of ebay for the whole Beosystem. :-(

picture of the system as promised....

I bought this last year from its original owner on a bit of a whim but in that time i have barely used it (wife hates the 70s equipment so it was relegated to my study and I can't really justify having 3 B&O hifi's in one room!) System consists of..... Beomaster 2400 - amplifier/tuner - Beogram 2400 - turn table. includes MMC cartridge

Hi Alex, welcome to beoworld! this unit sounds nice - I could be interested in this as my Beomaster 1900 has been sitting neglected in the corner of my study in a state of disrepair for a while now - a 2400 to replace it might be a good idea! ps i stay in Kilmarnock so we must be quite close! regards, Scott.

currently on a random chillout playlist on my apple tv going through a beocenter 8500 and a pair of redline 60.2's .... a single malt in front of me (no work tomorrow hurrah!) last couple of songs were Staralfur by Sigur Ros, Willow's Song (from the Wicker Man soundtrack) by Paul Giovanni and now have Space Walk by Lemon Jelly on - very random

This is very similar to my setup at home but i have only 1 pair of Redline 6000's connected to my main room system and a beovision with a pair of CX50's in the link room. Christian is correct - Your 2nd diagram looks fine but you could do it another easier way using less equipment..... you could use a 7pin din aux-link cable between your two

well big thanks to the Lifestyle AV team, the speakers have already arrived (and in their original box too) - haven't taken them out yet but i'm sure they will be exactly as described (in fact probably better going by previous experience) fantastic service - thats almost next day delivery on the item!

thanks Chris - thats great news then! ... I think i'd get murdered also if i'd bought a pair of 140's. i have to say that i've never thought the RL45.2's were particularly light on bass though - maybe i'll change my mind when i hear the new ones. Have to say i'm quite excited about getting the new speakers now!
