Dave, it is possible to remove and replace the doors, putting them back a little closer if you must. The other respondents say 2mm is OK; my Ouverture is about 1mm, so 2mm is fair. However, if you want to take the doors off, switch off the whole system unplug everything and place the Ouverture with its doors up on a table. Grab just one of the glass

Keith, I have finally got word back from our local B&O store. They said the issue had at last been fixed (in Germany?), and that a software upgrade will now fix my truncation problem. Just have to wait for Service to contact me now ... BTW Happy New Year!!!!

Hi Ploeg, I'm guessing at your Danish language, but I gather you have tried to activate NMUSIC and got ATAPE2 instead while using the Ouverture. This is normal, as the software in your system does not support NMUSIC. You need a new 'audio driver', that is a BEOLAB 4, BeoSystem 2500 or BS9000 or similarly 'new' product. Once you have

Thanks for the forecast Soundproof; what you suggest will be a boon to all B&O users!! The iRed software looks most promising. I'll follow up on that as well as the iRTrans ethernet for Mac. I really appreciate your thoughts and tips here. Have a great Boxing Day!! (Mine's just over as it's after midnight!!) Cheers!

Hi R, I'm waiting to have my BS3 software upgraded to be able to control my Apple TV which is working fine with the Apple Remote. Reading your query string, I just want to refresh a couple of thoughts: 1. You have an IR cable connected from the BV7's control output to the 'eye' of the Apple TV's IR pickup. This cable either covers

With the iPod Touch able to remotely control an iMac or Mac laptop with IR control, surely it wouldn't be a big step to make it a super control for BeoSystems; would it? What I dream about is a Beo 4/5 - type touch screen on the iPod (perhaps using Remote Buddy?) that could control what the Beo 5 can control -- or close to it. I can dream, can't

Hi JoC, If you have an iMac computer in your home, you can use Elgato EyeTV software to convert movies and TV shows to become iPhone or iPod touch streamable to your iPod---at least when in range of your WiFi system, and then watch them on your iPod in the WiFi zone. Those you need to see 'off shore' can be easily selected to download to the

Keith, thanks for asking. You are quite right, the software is now 1.50a on the DVB/T-S, with 3.10a as the general processor upgrade version. I understand Struer are looking into this, but wondered if anyone else has found the issue and/or a workaround. Kind regards, Mike

Hi Peter, I'm now using v3.1 of the software, and the subtitles work OK except for the top one-and-a-half lines when displaying subtitles (closed captions) at the top of the screen (because there's news titles or whatever at the bottom). I also have semi-transparent 'blocks' left on screen when the subtitles change from lower to higher

Hi Whittlesea, I'm not sure of your question, but I have tried the subtitles using the DVB-T module in a BS3 and it truncates the top lines (at least one-and-a-half; may be two-and-a-half lines). Have you come across this 'feature'? Mike
