Hi anampersand, The CX100 uses the standard 2-pin din (looks like a dot and a dash, one on top of the other), while the BM5500 may have an additional offset pin connection for a master control link system. You don't need to use that pin. Just use the dot and the dash connections for Speaker 1 (I'm basing my suggestion on the Beomaster 5000,

It's a little bit funny ... this feeling inside; I'm not one of those who can easily hide ... I don't have much money but, boy if I did ... I'd buy a big B&O sis, you can close the lid.

Thanks again guys. Our Service area is presently upgrading my system to include the Apple remote, dock and iPod! Looking forward to those raining photos with bated breath! Cheers!

I read in a few articles that the MacBook Pro might be upgraded with LED backlights on the 15 and 17-inch models and there is the possibility of a BluRay R-W drive being added, albeit at only 2X speed.

Hi Woodman, Mark's right, the Apple TV uses the 'b/g' version and not the 'n' version of the wireless standard ... hence it's limited to 54MHz transfer. I can run Photoshop (slowly) ... it depends on how much photo editing work you need to do. If a lot, I'd suggest a more powerful model ... but

Dear Jean-Luc, I converted to an Apple laptop two years ago. The jump is a big step, but worth it if you are a creative thinker. Your best purchase is a newer Intel-based laptop that can run Windows in case you really feel the need to revert. You will get the new Leopard operating system and iLife 08 (containing photo organiser/editor, web editor, music

From my reading of the article, the Cassette MP3 is a unit in itself, with its own battery/ies (and so can be used as a pocket MP3 player). It would use the tape head on the Ouverture to transfer the signal from the player to the Ouverture as though it were a real cassette ... at least that's my expectation. The unit has shipped from China, so I

Dave, it's some years since I did this, but I'm sure the tracks stay on the Ouverture and the clips (that clip into the tracks) are glued to the glass. Cheers!

I don't know the codes, but is the universal remote a 'learning remote'? Can it learn the code from your Beolink1000 terminal?
