Mikael, if you need a manual for the MCL2, look under "Music Systems / BeoLink Products/ Master Control Link 2" in the Service Manuals section. As a gold member you will be able to access the manuals at http://www.beoworld.org/manuals.asp?cid=3&rid=73. Hope this helps ... Babelfish is no use (!)

Moxxey, your dealer may have a preferred 'set' of 'what goes where'. He may habitually use V.MEM for a VCR, for example. He probably sees the Sky box as an auxiliary item. It's up to you where you place things (isn't B&O great in this regard?) You'll need to use LIST though when you have three or more boxes hanging .

Guys, I'm looking to upgrade the Sharp AQUOS I have hanging off a BS3, because it isn't HDCP-compliant (only sports a DVI connection). I'd love a BV9, but they are the price of a new family car. I'd like to buy a 50 or 52-inch panel, preferably with high-def digital built-in tuner. Should I go plasma or LCD? Should I look at 100Hz panels

This is great info guys. I've just found the problem after upgrading the software on BS3. Looks like I'll need an HDMI-compliant monitor; my Full-HD Sharp AQUOS panel (of three years) only supports a DVI connection! But there's a thin silver lining to this cloud, if you accidentally set your panel to a res it can't show, you can always

You can assign the V.MEM by calling up the Menu, Options, Connections and then the AV you have V.AUX set to. Press the right button to change the V.AUX to V.MEM. Just make sure you can still select your Set Top Box (STB) from the list that follows. Go finally stores the settings.

Moxxey, It's easy to convert 3.5mm Optical to Toslink, but what you may need is to convert optical to SPDIF coaxial. There's a box on eBay for $79 that does this. You may find others.

Cornelius, Don't know if this is of help as I don't speak German (wonderful Babelfish...) The five-pin DIN may use these connections (based on the 7-pin DIN Datalink connections): Pin 1: Yellow - Left OUT Pin 2 (top centre) ground, often connected to shield Pin 3: Blue - Left IN Pin 4: Red - Right OUT Pin 5: Green - Right IN Please note that

Aaron, Obviously this isn't something simple to fix. It sounds like a feedback loop; ie the tapehead may be picking up the loud speaker sound and feeding it back into the system via the tapehead, thus increasing the volume further till it squeals. This will likely not happen at low volumes. However, it may mean shelling out at the Service Centre

Aaron, The pic isn't very clear, but the cord on the right is correct for the speaker (plugs into the speaker's male point). I imagine the one on the left is also OK (it looks like it might be the same in an unfocussed kinda way). You problem is that you need someone to fit a 2-pin DIN male plug onto the bared end of each cable --- or buy a

Good to see you're becoming a Mac fan Christian. As you've already bought your iMac, Peter's comment is a most sound one. You use the iPod Touch to remotely control your iMac which should be plugged into a Masterlink system via a BeoPort, along with your BS3, and BC2. The iPod touch will likely use Remote Buddy or, I understand, better,
