  • Re: beoconnect connection problems

I would assume you have got several different issues to resolve. Can you please specify what model of Beomaster and Beosound you are using what kind of "apple base station" you are using. the Mac OSX version you are running on your Mac the Windows Version you are running on your Mac if you run Windows natively (on a bootcamp partition) or

  • Beo5: Only touchscreen buttons and volume wheel working

This is one of the questions you carry around for about two months before daring to ask - simply because it is so embarrassing to ask. I managed to overwrite my dealer's awkward settings and to reprogram my Beo 5 according to my own wishes by obtaining the Beo 5 configuration SW. Well, maybe his settings weren't so awkward at all; I noticed
  • Re: Macbook Pro and DAC and Beolap3

I presume not. In Apple TV's standard configuration, the USB-Port is reserved for service access and has no function to the end user. If you install a functional enhancement like ATV Flash, the USB port is being freed, but only for the use as an external storage medium

  • Re: LinkPlayer Feedback Thread

Chris, same thing on my BS9000 here: When I switch from one song to the next, the song title is being displayed for about 3 secs, then is replaced by N.MUSIC again. I have never invested a thought about this because BM-Link behaves exactly the same way. Have you checked on the firmware your BS9000 has? You may want to verify following this link .

Friends, I took the liberty of opening a new thread to collect feedback for Phil's Linkplayer SW development. I feel that this has gone way beyond the topic of the current thread. Hope you agree, Stefan

  • LinkPlayer Feedback Thread

Dear all For years, I have been using Anders Odlund's BM-Link to link my iTunes Library into my B&O framework via BeoPort / BeoLink PC 2. I was and still am very grateful that Anders ended my frustration with B&O's own Windows-based media player SW. However, over the years Anders did not have the time / the equipment to adapt BMLink

  • BeoLink PC 2 - no firmware upgrade possible

I own a BeoLink PC 2 since ages - and it still runs on the original firmware it came with, version 1.18. I tried to upgrade the firmware using BM-Link, but it failed with the error message "There was an error updating the firmware. The following error was reported: Failed to write data". Is there a way to fix this - apart from buying a new

Hello Phil A big thank you also from me ... I am using LinkPlayer to feed music from my Mac XServe Media Server (via a Cambridge DAC Maginc) to the BS9000, and I am very happy. However, I only use it to serve N.MUSIC and N.RADIO, and I may not be the best of testers, as I am less interested in the local functions, given the server is in the basement

  • Apple advises Apple TV 3.0 users to upgrade to 3.0.1

Yesterday, I received the following e-Mail message from Apple: Dear Customer, If you've installed the Apple TV 3.0 software update, you should immediately update to version 3.0.1. This prevents content from temporarily disappearing until it is resynced. To update your Apple TV software: 1. Reboot your Apple TV (unplug the power cord and plug it
