  • Re: Signal levels in MCL

Great! Now I can see how it all should work. I will start out with standard cables to verify the functionality before moving to custom cables. /Peter

  • Re: Signal levels in MCL

Thank you. I think I will try that. As the AUX/Datalink signals are all low level it should be possible to use my existing LexCom cables. I just have to build a pair of custom cables with a RJ45 in one end and 7-pin DIN in the other end. No, I haven't seen that overview. /Peter

  • Re: Signal levels in MCL

Ignace: Have you used an AUX-splitter yet ? Basically AUX between BM6500 and MX, the other AUX goes to the Beolink-converter. (keeping MCL between the BM and MX and then convert to ML) No, I haven't tried that. Is the AUX-splitter a passive device like the ML junction boxes or is some logic involved? /Peter

  • Re: MX7000 versions

I totally agree with you. As I have my tv in a corner I don't see any benefit of a LCD. As you might have read in another thread ( http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/thread/53274.aspx ), I'm trying something similar to your father's setup. Connecting a Beomaster 6500 to the MX. In my case there is two converters involved in addition to the

When I looked up the type I noticed that the plate actually said MX7000 Imp. Teletext. :) But thanks anyway /Peter

  • Re: What is the Config option of Beo4?

Hi, now I have examined my Beo4s further. My old one (with SAT, V.TAPE and A.TAPE buttons) displays MX, AV9000, AVANT, AV5 and NONE as video options. BASIC and BS9000 as audio options. My new one (with DTV, V.MEM and A.MEM buttons) has numeric options. Video 1 to 4 and Audio 1 and 2. Note that the old one had 5 video configurations. /Peter

  • Re: What is the Config option of Beo4?

Ok, I will go home and check this out? I have several Beo4s and believe I tried this on the newest one. The one with DTV, A.MEM etc. As i recall it had numbers and not product names. But I might be wrong. In any case, what products does the numbers correspond to? What difference does it make to the beo4? In other threads I have read about setting config

  • MX7000 versions

    Hi, how can I tell what version of MX7000 I have? Plain MX7000, MX7000 IT or MX7000 Beo4? /Peter

  • Re: What is the Config option of Beo4?

Thank you. I have two different Beo4. As I don't have the remote at hand right now I cannot check, but as i recall the config choices where 1,2,3,4 etc. Not names of different products. /Peter

  • What is the Config option of Beo4?

Hi, while trying to pin down the problem described in an earlier thread ( http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/permalink/53274/57202/ShowThread.aspx#57202 ) a few questions arose. What is the "Config?" setting in the Beo4? Is it documented? Does it control the Beo4, or does it affect the controlled unit the way the option setting does? I don't
