The issue with no IR reception was as I was guessing myselves the power cable to BS5. It is a little weak so handle with care. I borrowed a cable at my dealer and things works fine now. After the MB change, the look and feel is more smooth I think so thats nice. But my MB Bios is still 1.10 what is yours? The behaviour with BS5 coming alive by only

Hi and happy new year I got the 2009 flaw Mainboard resulting in a dead BM5. My dealer have replaced it but I think its the same "old" type Mainboard - should I worry about that!? Gary All you need is to select a track as a seed to MOTS, when you press for 3 sec then you are building your own playlist and that is ok and MOTS will engage as soon as your playlist has ended. You can not disable MOTS, it is allways engaged, and you can see by selecting playlist what the next tracks are MOTS have found.

Got it and I simply can't do without anymore. The MOTS is absolute stunning, it has newer disappointet me. I have masterlink all over and don't miss interaction from linkroom because you plant a seed on BS5 and then you listen to music for hours in any link room. UPDATE! Carefully lift it up (don't flip it), at the buttom there maybe is some screws (3 or 4) that has to be tightened! Actually there are firmware imbedded in BS5 and BM5 as there are in a normal PC (BIOS), graphic cards and all other items with a CPU. Software update are updates to the programs stored on harddrive in BM5 I don't know if the upcoming update is only software, firmware or both
