Congrats to your new tv! Indeed an amazing set and something I really would like to have one day as well to replace my BV5. Did you buy it via DBA.dk or a second hand dealer? I have noticed that they seam to go for a little less money than in Sweden. More sets to choose between I guess...

Well, I doubt that even a customer who has paid the full price of an earlier version of the BV6, BC6 or 7-32 etc., would have felt upset if B&O had reduced the price of these tv:s in order to boost sales. When the BV6 was launched it was top of the line and the price tag could be justified. Nowadays prices are reduced (for the screens B&O buys

Hmm, where can I fit a 32" BV10-32 in my kitchen? (My excuses for the picture quality and the size of the picture. I know it has been discussed how to reduce the size but do not find it right now). Really sad to here the BV6 is discontinued.

As for the reliability of the BV5 - there seems to be at least some of us who has experienced what probably is to be regarded as a power supply problem resulting in a high, buzzing noise when showing bright pictures. If my memory does'nt fail I think my 2002 MK 1 BV5 has been used for 222 days in video mode. http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/t/34151

No mention of the BV6 going out of production I hope? They applied somewhat similar discounts when the BC6 was turned into the BV6 again. Would be a shame iif going out of production since the BV6 is a really good looking 26" tv. There are not many of that size anymore. Hopefully it is just a way to increase sales. I imagine that the BV10-32 might

Sounds like a really nice feature which I really would like to see implemented! However, a good question would also be why there is no such timer function in the BV10-46? A 46" tv is not exactly a linkroom tv.

I have both a Mk1 BV5 and a Mk1 7-32 and must say that I find the picture quality of the BV5 much better, especially the colours. Yes, it has less pixels and is not hd-ready but I still find it better. Have no experience of the Mk1 BV 7-40 but from what I have read at this forum the pq cannot be reagrded as good before you step up to the MK3:s, which

Hi Peter, I have unfortunately never owned a BV3 so I am not able to compare the pq between the two sets. What I can mention is a that the picture might be a bit "blurred" around fast moving objects such as a tennis ball (and are not bandy balls almost impossible to see even in real life?). My set is as mentioned a non hd-ready MK1 so it is

Hi Peter, I cannnot comment on the picture quality of the BV3/Avant RF (moved from a MX7000 to a Mk1 BV5) but I can at least say that I am very happy with the pq of the BV5. It definitely outperforms my current Mk1 BV7-32, Mk1 BV6 and BC6-23. The MX7000 is of course no match either. That being said, only the latest version (MK4 I believe) came with

Nothing I have noticed. Have not had the opportunity to some serious listening though.
