  • Re: Beosound 9000 with Beosound 5

Many thanks for your input. I tried Carolpa's proposed setup to start with since the Beolinke Active solution requires a bit more of cabling work from my side. Everything works great. Excellent! Will try the BeoLink Active solution at a later stage when the BL3 goes up on the wall and I will have to do something about the cable mess anyway. Best

Old thread but does someone have any input how to solve a setup with a BV5 as videomaster with Beolabs connected to it, a BS5 and and a BS9000 - all situated in one large room? Up until now I have had no other speakers than the ones connected to the BV5 and all has worked fine (BS5 not set as audiomasterm, BS9000 option 0). Recently I have however acquired

[quote user="Beobuddy"] [quote user="Emil"] A longshot but maybe worth a try - have you checked whether your rc is set to two-way or one-way communication? During the last years of it's active life (screen only shows a few pixels nowadays) my Beolink 5000 could change from two-way to one-way without no particular reason. If you

  • Re: serene pstn(old model) docking

If it is the old Mk1 version of the PSTN base I think you will have to use a pencil or similar to push a small button on the base to open it. Regards, Emil

  • Re: BL11 placement

All, Thanks for your valuable input. Geoff, many thanks for your comments. It would be really interesting to hear about your findings if you find the time to try the BL11 with the Montana shelf. Best regards, Emil

Great, potential problem no. 1 solved then. Given the fact that there will be limited space around the sub then - would that cause any potential problems with the sound quality, less bass, too much bass etc.?

I was actually considering the shelf only being wall mounted, about 20 cm above the floor, kind of like a sideboard. Since the subwoofer itself can be wall mounted I was under the impression that there were not that much bass vibrations. Also has a BL2 which I am at least familiar with and which naturally would be a completely different thing.

  • BL11 placement

In the new catalogue there is a really nice looking picture of a red BL11 in a book shelf. I am currently considering a BL11 to support my BL3 in the dining room and must admit that I get somewhat tempted by this solution. My idea is to place the BL11 into a wallmounted Montana book shelf (69,6 cm x 69,6 cm, divided into 4 differents shelf so the shelf
