Hi everyone, Apologies for the daft question I'm trying to get my BV8-32 to control a Humax Foxsat HD satellite receiver and I can't seem to get any control of this at all via the PUC options listed on the BV8 menu. I suspect that I need to get the STB table updated so that the Foxsat is specifically listed, but usually in the past I've

Even quicker answer: Yes! These are one of my most popular cables, so I keep them in stock for all Beolab speakers that need the Powerlink sockets for line inputs, including Beolabs 3, 9, 4000 (mk.2), 6002 and 8002. Please see my sponsor link below for more details. Kind regards, Steve.

Hi symmes, The headphone socket on the iPod/iPhone is inaccessible when it is docked (I think this is the same for iPad, but can't remember for certain?). It is for this reason that I had initially ignored the option of feeding local audio from the docked player back into the Masterlink network. Also, the PC port input on Beolink Active only gives

[quote user="symmes"]""1) BeoSound 8 can be integrated into a Masterlink network by connecting it via the PC port of a Beolink Active link room controller. Please note that you will need to specify the correct version of Beolink Active if you wish to make use of this option. This allows BS8 to play audio from any global Masterlink

[quote user="burantek"] Thanks Steve for posting. I recalled your work in the "live launch" thread. Great job! So, a little update... I missed my BS8... long story. So, I have had some time to think more. Look out! I have been sorta' half searching for a single BL4000 for a center channel on one of my BV4's (currently on

Hi elephant, Within 48 hours of the BeoSound 8 launch, I was able to release a range of BeoSound 8 Aux Input Cables (thanks to a friend who lent me one of the first BS8's to land in UK, and as a result of not sleeping during 2 days of intensive development work!) These cables can be specified to your requirements in a choice of lengths, allowing

Hi Seannie_230, I tried a few from different sources that didn't seem to work too well on my BV8-32 (or that didn't work at all). Many of the ones advertised are actually IR receivers, not transmitters (often very badly described) as they are often intended for use with Media Centre PC's. In reply to your request for a link, I've found

Personally, I'd go for the Quad 33 into the BS8 - what a style combination! I love the sound of the old Quad gear, BTW you'd be amazed how much of it has made its way to Japan in the past few years...... Steve.

Hi Burantek, Nothing crazy about that idea! I've put together a range of cables to make BeoSound 8 more flexible (including allowing it to be added to a Masterlink network as a link room speaker), so adding a BeoMaster 5000 is no problem! In case anyone is wondering, this is the 1967-1972 Tuner that we're talking about here (type 2005, wooden

Hi Stefann, You can also use a Masterlink Junction Box, which allows you to cut the cables and join them easily for a permanent connection. These come with a fitting tool and full instructions. Let me know if you need any help in finding one of these. You can use a BeoVision TV as a speaker in a link room without a Beolink active and eye - simply link
