Wow, thanks! That's a superb prize to win! In fact, its so good that I bought a copy for myself a couple of months ago...... Rather than being greedy and having two copies, can I please donate this prize back to BeoWorld, so that it can be passed on to another BeoWorlder? Thanks, Steve.

Hi Ray, Welcome to the forum! I've sent you an email to advise on how to adjust the volume levels of your Beolab 5's, also how to calibrate your AV receiver. Beolab 5's can overwhelm smaller speakers in surround sound system, so they may need turning down using the Beo4 remote. Other Beolab speakers don't have this built-in volume control

Hi js, I don't think that B&O have a product that will work as an adapter in this situation with your existing cables. As Beolab 3's need careful grounding to prevent induced noise reaching the digital amps, I would advise against trying to combine your existing Powerlink cables with a separate adapter. I always recommend using a single

Hi Lars, Sorry for the slow reply. You need the Line in cables for Beolab speakers to connect the Beolab 3's and 5's to your AV receiver. The Beolab 5's need to be switched on with a Beo4, as they won't automatically switch on when used with an AV receiver like the Beolab 3's will. Once they have been switched on with the Beo4, they

Hi nikeyboy, No problem! You can easily connect from the pre-out sockets on the back of the Beocenter 9000 to a pair of Beolab 1 speakers using the cable in the link below:- http://soundsheavenly.co.uk/bando-rcatolab.htm You would need to select "Beolab (RCA)" to get a stereo RCA to stereo RCA version of the cable for your Beolab 1 speakers

Hello Lars, The Sync cable is not a standard minijack cable, it is a specially wired version. I have these available if you need one. It is worth noting that use of this cable requires the Sync function to be enabled on your speakers. The Sync function was active on Beolab 5 speakers from serial no. 17772145 and software level 2.5 and above (around

Hello Lars, Welcome to the forum! Beolab 3's have power amps built in, whereas Beolab 5's have both pre AND power amps built in. Hence, you can use Beolab 5 on Line Out (fixed volume) outputs from your receiver and control them via their own pre-amp using a Beo4 remote, whereas the Beolab 3's need to be connected to a variable (volume controlled

David was a true genius, a man who many of us in the industry have looked up to and admired for his decades of inspirational work. I think his ideas have shaped Bang & Olufsen more than those of any other individual. My thoughts are with his family at this sad time.

Hi Edouard, I think that the extra bass and different sound from the BV10-40 could be due to the audio processing when listening to Dolby-encoded surround sound movies. Each audio format seems to have slightly different effects and bass levels, which can make setting up a subwoofer difficult at times! The sound should be "purer" through the
