  • Re: BeoVison 7 s Here!!!

jk1002: >> So the total cost was 109.000 Kr = $ 15931 with the stand !<< US prices are always without tax, so if you add the average 8% and then the 1000 for the stand you are pretty much in the same range. Except that you nordic guys probably have 20 or so percent tax ..... JK $15931 inc tax. (20% tax) But i payed the same money for a BV

  • Re: Cables that make a difference

soundproof: Chris: You could give a try at NEUTRIK, they have gold plated din connectors. But it will be difficult to get them, most shops don't sell DIN connectors anymore, its a outdated connector from the '70. Well, don't tell NAIM that. You're right in that DIN connectors aren't used as much by other manufacturers, but NAIM swears

  • Re: Subjective, biased, unscientific opinion

Alex: Bear in mind this is the BeoSystem 3-based US version. The current (pre-late 2007) version of the BeoVision 7 in Europe is a completely different set internally, and hence does none of this anywhere near as well as the BeoSystem 3 based sets do... Alex I'm think your wrong here. I spoked to my friend ho works at a B&O shop here in Stockholm

  • Re: Here is ours

symmes: I am too biased to compare televisions, plus you never get to see ours side-by-side with reasonable alternatives. To me, BV7 is a more compelling reason to take a systems approach to home entertainment. At $13,250 MSRP with speaker, your ability to build from that platform requires an investment, but a fair and reasonable one for those with

Its sheep if you ask me! I taught B&O where more expensive in the US but obviously not? $13250 = 87565 Swedish Kr. ($1= 6.61 Swedish Kr) I bought the "EURO" Beovision 7-40 MK II 720p without BS3 and FullHD last week, and payed: $14651 !!!! without electric stand! So the total cost was 109.000 Kr = $ 15931 with the stand ! I'm so envious

Rombeek: Peter, Do you know the Pioneer type? Marcel I´ve read in a Swedish magazine "Hifi&Musik" for a while ago that the BC2 and BV 7 using the drive unit from Pioneer DV-989 but not all of its fine components sadly. They using the same video DAC:s (14bit 108Mhz) and audio DAC:s ( Burr-Brown) as the Pioneer, but not the same output

  • Re: Here is ours

    1. Can you compare the picture with a more common plasma or LCD? How much better is it? The blackest black in LCD:s today, or can you mark out some competitors for the BV 7-40 ? Have you testing it with HD material or just SD-TV and DVD? 2. What is the price? Regards Fredrik L.
