So Graham....would it just be easier to connect some speakers and do the TM?? or is that not advised?? If not advised...then i just go back in the "stand by" mode and re-set to option 1 , yes?? thanks...!!

Hi guys... We ran the TM on the BS 9000.......we ran the CD TM's 61 thru 71....(1st time did not have 5 cd's loaded for 71).. everything seemed to work..turntable, laser movement, spin cd, etc.. Then went back and loaded 5 cd's and tried to re-run TM 71.....but the BS would now not power up with the remote..we unplugged the mains...still

I don't see anything about this in the service manual.....so... To remove the thick plastic coating on the lower base of the pentas.....does it just pull off??

I hear ya Cam.....but outdoor speakers have really come a long way.....and you'd have to spend $800 per pair in my opinion to out do the Yamaha's.......great imaging, etc... i know their power rating is lower...but we're driving 2 pair with an amp that delivers 160 RMS per channel....super clean and it is excellent....with an outboard 10"

Hi Henry....i'd suggest you go out and listen to them all....i can tell you that the Bose 251...i compared it to....was more expensive with just 1 X 5 or 5.5inch woofer...did not even compare to the yamaha's..... I know , i'm really pro yamaha....but we've had these up for about 1 year in the sun, rain and weather of the equator....
